Uniform Details
The uniform students wear at Hartford Church of England High School helps create a strong sense of community and equality. It removes the pressure of choosing what to wear, putting all pupils on the same footing regardless of background and reducing feelings of isolation that may arise if some families cannot afford specific brands.
Uniform also encourages pride, belonging and cohesion, embodying our HART values. Students are Happy, without the need to worry about choosing their clothing each morning. They are Achieving as they can focus on their learning: many schools report that uniform supports better discipline, focus and behaviour, as clothing separates school life from home life. Students are Ready, both for the school day and for the world of work when, where there are clothing expectations and many careers have uniforms of their own. By wearing our uniform students are Together as part of our school community, fostering a sense of belonging and the shared goal of achieving their best in all that they do.

Ties
As part of the school uniform, all students are required to wear a tie. Ties are dark navy blue and feature either a single coloured stripe or multiple coloured stripes. The stripe(s) denotes the student's family affiliation:
- Riddings: Red
- Whitehall: Silver
- Beeches: Yellow
- Hollies: Green
Parents of Year 6 students should note that Northwich Schoolwear does not provide an option to select family colours when purchasing ties. Families are asked to order a Hartford Church of England High School Year 7 tie. The school will issue the appropriate family tie to each student on their first day of Year 7.
